I am a researcher of international law and international relations, broadly interested in the rhetoric and strategic uses of international law. My work often focuses on questions of human rights and the use of military force and particularly how actors create and contest different meanings of compliance. You may find more information on my research interests and current projects on this site.
I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Berlin-Potsdam Research Group "The International Rule of Law – Rise or Decline?" I completed my Ph.D. in Political Science and International Relations at the University of Southern California (USC) and was previously a Visiting Research Fellow at the Amsterdam Center for International Law.
If you have any questions, or would like to reach out regarding possible collaborations, you may find my contact information on this site as well.
